Since I’ve been doing projects with the Nosco Project, I’ve had the opportunity to plan new outings to go on and shoot. The upcoming theme is “Garden” and so I decided it would be prudent to begin searching San Diego for appropriate garden. Google alerted to me to the existence of the San Diego Botanic Garden, located a few miles North in Encinitas. I knew this would be an exciting opportunity to try out my new lens, the 60mm Canon USM macro lens. A very fine piece of work, this lens would be getting its trial run in the gardens. Well I was cruising around flickr when I realized something stupidly simple. Every time it rains we all rush out and go view the plants and flowers in their wet, dewy glory.
